Fourth week
started with taking more portraits from Lent’s staff for the new website. Taking
portraits is the one thing that I’ve got nearly no experience at all, so I was still
a bit nervous how it would go – even though I had already taken some photos of
the staff earlier. Of course I was nervous with no reason at all, because it is
so nice and easy to work with everybody in here – there would be no better
place to do my training period!
Wednesday could
have been the most awaited day of my visit here. It started normally with
taking photos at the office from ‘Kursholderkurs’, with main target to get some
header photos for the new website. In the evening I was supposed to go to a
concert in Rockefeller Music Hall, to see amazing British musician Tom Odell. In
last minute call (only just couple of days earlier) I ended up asking permission
to take photos there, and was granted to do it! So you might only imagine how
excited I was.

The concert
was amazing, and I really had problems with not to just scream, jump and sing along
with the music. I had time only for the three first songs to take photos, and
after that I was able to watch and listen the rest of the concert from the
front row. Awesome night!

One for the gag reel - here's how 'easy' it is to catch a photo from a man behind a piano! |
I had this
little weird feeling in my right foot from the start of the week, and it had
gone worse and worse in the following days. When I had to move fast in the
concert and almost run from one side of the stage to another, I felt this
stabbing pain in my right instep – luckily I had prepared myself for this with
painkillers, and I could walk home that night. But Thursday was something awful
– I had to crawl to get to the kitchen or toilet. The foot wasn’t better on
Friday when we went to Drammen to film some interviews, and I had to go to the ‘legevakten’
(emergency room) after that trip.

Fortunately
there was no fracture shown in the x-rays (as I was afraid of), but the doctor
gave me crutches to walk with. You can imagine how excited I was! How am I now
supposed to explore the city, and take photos outside? But maybe my foot will
be okay in 7-10 days, as the doctor said. If it isn’t, it’s going to be another
visit to the legevakten – yay for me!
