Marika, Norway: Bad news

My sixth week started with bad news; I had to go to see the doctor on Monday, because my foot really wasn’t getting better at all.  I got to shoot a couple of photos before I left the hospital in the afternoon, and happened to arrive there just in the rush time – my luck, of course! After couple of hours waiting, I finally got the news that I had been afraid of: fracture on my right instep’s outer side, and walking with crutches at least a month. Actually the doctor lectured me a bit about walking with only one crutch, but I tried to explain that I need my another hand for camera – she didn’t buy it at all. So, no long walks for weeks, yay!

It has been very sunny and you can really taste the spring in the air, so it has been such a shame that I need to spend my days inside the house. I’m kind of surprised how not-bored I’ve still got because of loads of stuff to do on the computer; I’ve been video editing (I’m actually kind of getting to like it!) the interview clips from earlier and I’ve actually got time for school stuff too. But I’d still prefer to be enjoying these last weeks in Oslo outside the apartment, photographing and spending time with people I’ve got to know here..

Besides sitting home and building up my very own office to my room, I managed to get the last portraits of Lent’s staff this week. And I also spotted the very first crocuses near Lent’s office too! Spring is really coming, so let’s try to be positive :)

Real evidence of the crocuses!
My greetings to my fabulous luck :D
