Pekka, Spain: From flamenco to surfing

Working for a newspaper certainly gives you a lot of opportunities to meet different people and see new places. This week started with a basic news story about a charity event and ended with a spectacular flamenco show I got the pleasure of covering.

In between we covered stories from local businesses and entrepreneurs to surfers having a blast on the coastline. Regular work for a photographer, but also very interesting and much fun. I take great pride in my work, but I'm happy to be able to say that I enjoy every moment. I think that is a privilege.

This weekend I will not be resting on my laurels. I will travel to Granada, Sierra Nevada, Almeria and many places in between. Hoping to take great images with my camera.

Below are images from this week's paper and also some stock photos for the future.
