Hannu, Gran Canaria first week

On tuesday I arrived to the Gran Canaria. It was long way to go with aeroplane, 4h + 3h. First I flew to Barcelona and from there to GC. My employer came to airport to pick me up and then we went to Las Palmas. I had 3 luggages and one bag where was all my objectives and some camera stuffs. I think the camera bag weight was over 25kg. There is a limit 10kg to the hand luggage but I can say that nobody ever has weighted the hand luggage.

First night was bad because of the workmen do somehing of f***ng on street. So the first day at the studio was quite interesting. I was quite tired byt hey I scored it. The employer is very polite, nice and I think we have same values of life. First me talk much and trying to know each other. On the second day I did some photographs of bottles. Now I waiting when we going to drink those bottles :D I put some pictures of those bottles, hope you like it. There is one quite interesting thing. They shoot only continuous light in their studio. No flashes. I think it`s easier to shoot because you can see the light right away. It works pretty well I think!

On the third day I fixed some old photos that customer brought to us. There was some scratches and wear that had to remove. That was quite teachfull day because I learn something about of photoshop.

On the friday I got some portrait pictures which I had to choose and made photoshopping there. I made over 50 photos so it tooks some time.

Saturday was the wedding day. It was awesome. More than 160 guests came to the wedding. I put some pictures on my webpages where you can go and check the photos (http://www.hannuphoto.com/photos/haat/vanessa-ayoze/). I am satisfied with my photos but you can always improve.

Sunday I rested all day long. Because the the weddings started at 15:00 and finished 4:00 so I was quite wasted.

  1. Sounds like you are doing some very nice, educational and productive work. I especially like the wedding pics here, some really beautiful and emotive ones.

Looking forward to more of the same...
