Timo, Spain: Some questions from readers

Week has gone and I have got few questions. Where I found apartment? What I do here for work? Is this nice place.

For me it is actually quite easy, maybe too easy, to get flat. My retired  gollegue has apartment in Los Pacos, middle of finnish colony. This is one room, kitchen and shower flat, probably 30 square meters and probably the best in this apartment is that  place is little bit away from center. Renting apartement here at offseason is easy and cheep. Here are many finnish and local companies who offers different choises. You can find them ie. SE,  Fuengirola.fi or Ole papers. One thing you should consider is heating of the house. Here it is not common that flat has heaters so nights are quite fresh. Prefer apartments where are possibility to heat, even with extra cost of electricity. That keeps your flat dry and warm. If all other thing are fine and you have to choose between two flats, choose one which internet connection included. Why? Because internet for two months cost about 115€, if you have to by local sim for it

Sofiaopisto is Finnish Adult Education center in Fuengirola. I will give lessons for students in three topics, one is basic of compact cameras, other is basics of  DSLR and last is photografing in general. Then I document all current teachers in they work, lessons, trips (ie. today I will go to restaurant which have combined lunch and auction) and those pictures are used for web site, study program and annual report.

About the place itself. In few words, I like it. So far all days has been warm, about 20 degrees. Basic cost of living (except internet) is inexpensive which makes possible to live easily 10€/day for food and I assume that apartment cost per day is 15€. Ofcourse you can spend money at bars and restaurants and then it's good idea thing those days as 50€.
