Linda, Spain: Hola, here I am!
Hi,
I arrived in Fuengirola couple of nights ago. Yesterday I had a quick tour in the fuengirola.fi office and got to know a few local grocery store and my home corners.
Today is my first day at work in fuengirola.fi and it started with a train trip Benalmadena. Now I'm sitting in the office and doing some photoshoping.
Here are few pictures of my home corners:
hasta luego!

Timo, Spain: Several gigs behind more ahead
Second week here was very busy. I had one or two gigs per day and today I finalized last pictures. Probably the best one was photografing handcraft of children with them. Each one helped me to take photo of their handcraft and I put afterwards those on the beach. You can see creatures from this link
I had also planned process how Sofiaopisto can organize their pictures. I have recomended Lightroom for tool to organize pictures and manipulate them slightly.

Timo, Spain: El Tintero seafood restaurant
Last Sunday I had first photografing gig with student group called Vierivät kivet. They had excursion to restaurant El Tintero in Malaga. My job was document the trip and took photos for the newspaper article.
This restaurant does not have menus. Chefs grill and cook all kinds of seafood from sardines to lobsters. After that waitreses carry ready stuff around restaurant and customers can shout for plates. After eating butler come to count plates, small 6€, big one 17€ and empty bottles/jars. For the big group lunch costs 15 euros without desert.
Shared bill is typical spanish habbit. If you go out with your friends you probably will share food and definetly you share the bill. Sometimes you will pay more than you have ordered sometimes less. End of the day most important thing is that you have had great time with your friends.
Below couple of photos from the gig. .

Timo, Spain: Some questions from readers
Week has gone and I have got few questions. Where I found apartment? What I do here for work? Is this nice place.
For me it is actually quite easy, maybe too easy, to get flat. My retired gollegue has apartment in Los Pacos, middle of finnish colony. This is one room, kitchen and shower flat, probably 30 square meters and probably the best in this apartment is that place is little bit away from center. Renting apartement here at offseason is easy and cheep. Here are many finnish and local companies who offers different choises. You can find them ie. SE, Fuengirola.fi or Ole papers. One thing you should consider is heating of the house. Here it is not common that flat has heaters so nights are quite fresh. Prefer apartments where are possibility to heat, even with extra cost of electricity. That keeps your flat dry and warm. If all other thing are fine and you have to choose between two flats, choose one which internet connection included. Why? Because internet for two months cost about 115€, if you have to by local sim for it
Sofiaopisto is Finnish Adult Education center in Fuengirola. I will give lessons for students in three topics, one is basic of compact cameras, other is basics of DSLR and last is photografing in general. Then I document all current teachers in they work, lessons, trips (ie. today I will go to restaurant which have combined lunch and auction) and those pictures are used for web site, study program and annual report.
About the place itself. In few words, I like it. So far all days has been warm, about 20 degrees. Basic cost of living (except internet) is inexpensive which makes possible to live easily 10€/day for food and I assume that apartment cost per day is 15€. Ofcourse you can spend money at bars and restaurants and then it's good idea thing those days as 50€.

Einari, Iceland: DONE.
Now it's all done.
My time in Iceland has come to an end.
I'm really thankful for everything I saw and learned. So many new things, so many great places and people. Everything was so good, not one complain on anything.
Now that is all behind me, I have to say that time went fast.
But let's go to the last day of mine.
On the last day I started with my great master Gudmundur, and after lunch I went to this one theater called "tjarnarbíó" we're was dress rehearsal of a schools play. It was acted and directed by students of Borgarholtsskóli, I was there to take some shots(what a surprise).
After that my day was done, I went back the male pig hill and realized that's it.
Speaking of that's it, this really is now over.
So thank you all how have been here reading my lovely HDRI stories about my life and my opinion of Iceland today and what future will bring to this country.
Now is my time to step aside and head back to fine land of Finland, but it's nice to see here is already new blood on this blog. So you who liked so much of your stay here in blogger on this great blog, don't go anywhere show will go on. Now is just my time to make room for new ones to come.
But new beginning is not the end. The end is not really the end, there is no the end.
Oh what a great way to end my blogging here.
Last shots. First director, second rehearsal and third Iceland.
I hope all the best for all of you, lots of smiles and great days.
Until next time.
Einari

Einari, Iceland: Last week in Reykjavik.
Hello there, I'm here!
Last week has started normally. with cup of tee.
Its been quite a trip, and has gone fast.
I've been still doing darkroom stuff, photoshop, shooting black and white film with Pentax and also helped Gudmundur to shoot some different art things on he's studio.
That was last week and start of this, and exactly like every other week in here.
Yesterday I was whole day out walking and shooting, Gudmundur thought that I could spend some time outside in fresh air. I think because yesterday was the only sunny day on this week. It's like that on winter, now I really know it.
One day clear, 2-3 days rain and wind, 1-2 colder days then little bit of snow and then all over again. It has been like that, one day sun shine per week.
It was nice to walk around, I went bunch of new places and saw new angles of this city.
Today I was meeting Örn Marínó Arnarson, from Markell Productions. They have done few short films and documentaries. Feathered Cocaine is they're best know documentary, and they are now making sequel for that. We talked about little bit of Ireland's movie business, how they make documentaries and what gear they use. He showed me their "LONBUINN" documentary of life of salmon. It was nice looking movie and very interesting meeting it was.
I'm greatful that at my last week in here I got this great opportunity to see a bit of movie scene in here.
But now I end my post here in pictures again, 3 shots from my yesterday's walk.
And if you like to see those shot in a bit better quality go here: http://einarivuorinen.wix.com/photography#!icelandeera/clr2
The photos are in little bit better quality there, I made it cause I saw that this blog compresses these photos quite much.
Yeah, but now.
Peace and Einari out.

Timo, Spain: First days in Fuengirola!!
I arrived early monday morning to Malaga. Clock was 02:00 at airport and only choices get trasportation to my flat are take taxi or rent a car from airport. My choice was taxi. I have to use my own navigator to advice driver right adress in Los Pacos. If I have possibility to do choice again, I will prefer rented car. It is chepear and faster and Nokia phones has nice offline maps :).
On monday afternoon I went to my workplace and first week has been more or less planning and marketing week for comming weeks here at Sofiaopisto.
I have had time to be also tourist for the one photo.

Einari, Iceland: Back.
Hey.
Faster than ever, I mean I'm back again.
Just few days from last post and still I'm here.
Last two days with Gudmundur we have been shooting Sigrid Valtingojer's art into digital form.
I can't say how many different pictures we shot but many, well it took 2 so there where quite many.
And also I've been in the darkroom making my own shot to come alive, I also scanned few of those with Gudmundur's Hasselblad film scanner. This is the real reason of this post, because I wanted to share with you few of my first medium format film shots.
Here they are, and here is also 2 shots from Gudmundur & Sigrid photo session.
Now was also time to put out first HDR image of this trip, sorry I just had to.
Is this HDRI stories blog or what?
Einari out, till next time.
