Joonas, Spain: Photo shoots

These were at the first weekend but I waited that I can get couple pictures for ready. It took while because I have never before done "real retouch" with advanced technique so it's not easy for me. Many days are gone with watching videos of different techniques while studying them, hours and hours, sometimes even boring because you can't do what you want.

We had two photo shoots at the same weekend and I was assistant and still-photographer in that other.

So last week, I was assigned to photograph the women's day event on friday evening at the local nightclub Mai Tai Discoteca. Ticket included sparkling wine with strawberry and a tapas plate. There was also product and spa presentations. Evening's main act was a finnish well-known comedian Krisse Salminen. And of course my main goal was to take a photo from her. So here's sneak peek:

I'm pleased with last weeks work, I got six photos to the newspaper and photoshopped many others. Here you can read it, last week was vol 251.

Joonas, Spain: Zaragoza

I started my trip to Zaragoza on last Friday morning at 08.38 with bus and I arrived to here about 16 hours later. Now I want to show just few pics from here :)

Linda, Spain: 1st week behind.

Hi,

so first week in Fuengirola is behind. The weather has been, well to be honest, pretty lame. But I'm not going to complain, no snow at least! Yesterday was quite nice, sunny and pretty warm. So I took a train to Torremolinos and spend lovely afternoon there.

Timo, Spain: 1st half done

Hola!

Weeks have gone very fast. Now I have been here 4 weeks and most days I have had  photografing and photoshoping. Anyway, I think that most valuable work has been courses. I have learned a lot and my students have found 'new' features from their cameras.

One very nice thing is that my photos are really used in many ways. Below you can find one example about how Sofiaopisto uses my photos.

Coming week is pretty much starndard week. I have still few things to do documenting Sofiaopisto's daily routines and then I start to think about stuff potraits and how to take them. I have found 'studio' and next week I will go to look how I can take photos there.

Linda, Spain: Hola, here I am!

Hi,


I arrived in Fuengirola couple of nights ago. Yesterday I had a quick tour in the fuengirola.fi office and got to know a few local grocery store and my home corners.

Today is my first day at work in fuengirola.fi and it started with a train trip Benalmadena. Now I'm sitting in the office and doing some photoshoping.

Timo, Spain: Several gigs behind more ahead

Second week here was very busy. I had one or two gigs per day and today I finalized last pictures. Probably the best one was photografing handcraft of children with them. Each one helped me to take photo of their handcraft and I put afterwards those on the beach. You can see creatures from this link

I had also planned process how Sofiaopisto can organize their pictures. I have recomended Lightroom for tool to organize pictures and manipulate them slightly.
