Kimi - Fuengirola - Oh, it’s over already /week 6

Last week in Fuengirola and rushing to get all my pics for the magazine on their places. The training time here has been very much of what I hoped and expected. I think I reached my personal goal to learn to use my digital slr camera properly and to so get more out of it.

During the week also I tried to climb my way up to the hill to the Osborne bull statue, but found it impossible to do with my flip flops. But at least I did see the donkey there which deepest wish was to be that bull she adored.

So long, Spain. I'll meet you again, soon I hope.

Kimi - Fuengirola - Mijas & Marbella/week 5

Sorry for the short text here. I have been very busy this week. This picture series includes trips to ''white village'' Mijas on the mountains and luxurious Marbella known for its yacht harbour.

Kimi - Fuengirola - Finally some big waves /week 4

The 4th week is windy. The gap between two wave breakers is full of surfers and paddlers riding the ocean. With me there was several other photographers sharing the rare possibility too.

Later my friends from work suggested me to go see spanish league football in Malaga. A Local team Malaga C.F. versus Levante UD playing their last game of the season. The La Rosaleda stadium wasn’t really packed but the atmosphere of those 25 000 football fans cheering still left me impressed.

The last picture is from the yard of my apartment. What killed the little dragon we may never now, but I suspect it was either the neighbours cat or that mean looking sparrow above it.

Kimi - Fuengirola - Mountains&butterflies/week 3

On the third week of my time here I did some travelling on towns nearby. At first I found myself from a butterfly park in Benalmadena. A large green house with heavy humidity in the air and butterflies floating everywhere -and a wallaby jumping around. Luckily also I was allowed to take photos there.

Later that week I took a bus to mountains and place called Ronda. A city with bridges on both sides of it 100 metres high. It was easily worth the hot and shaky bus ride to get to shoot these amazing landscapes on that trip.

One of my favourite gigs also took place at this week. The fashion show in bar Mask. Girls cat walking

on a red carpet, lots of balloons, french language and sparkling wine bottles. And of course a Drag queen.

Pavel - Barcelona week 7

We continued with retouching from last week, but I also took some time to make my school portfolio. After work I stayed at the studio to try on the different set up's to make studio shootings. The studio has a large selection of equipments so it is really nice to try those in different shootings.

During my freetime I did kitesurfing, one of my favourites. The winds haven't been favourable until now, so when the forecast was good, we took a train and got to the sandy beach about 15 km to South from Barcelona, great place for kiting.

The time has gone really fast, only one week left! I have been learning a lot during last couple week. I could stay here for longer time, the first month went mostly getting to know the people and places. But this have been a great time, a gay opportunity to see how things are done here!

Pavel - Barcelona week 6

In the studio this week we have been retouching the photos. I have had many lessons from the the others in the studio about that.

When away from studio, we have walked around the city. There is so much to see - every walk gives you a new point of view to this charming city.
