Joonas, Spain: Shoot at El Pilar and Easter

Friday, noon, plenty of sunshine straight from above, big headache of the shadows on the face. The most worst time to make shoot specially without assistant but now it just went like this because usually I can't decide schedule.

People were curious at the street and few groups wanted to take pics with Cristina and I also noticed that someone used my model beside of me.

Last Sunday, Palm Sunday, here in Zaragoza was some kind Easter event. I don't care at all of any religious stuff but they are so crazy people that you can get great pics of those parties and events what they organize, so thanks to them.

I'm gonna start my Easter holiday today and go somewhere, not so sure where but hopefully there I can be do little bit hiking/walking and at the same time watch nice views.

Sami, Iceland: Almost two weeks.

I arrived 13th of the march to Guesthouse Galtafell. Since then i have been hanging around at Reykjavik, rented car twice and done few assignments. Summary: some northern lights, amazing landscapes, good coffee, killer whales, some sushi and more good coffee.

Timo, Spain: The last week started

Well, everything ends and now I have started last week. Basically this week is only three days, because of public holidays of eastern. Yesterday I visited in Malaga and festival area is already in use.  I realy wait to see Semana Santa festival.

Coming week I will teach Sofia-opistos stuff to use Lightroom so they are able make jpgs from raw files. Then I have last four hours of theaching. For students I have promised to give overview to Picasa and other free software.

Today I have installed Lightroom and moved picture library to Sofia-opistos harddrive.

This is my last day in Spain. I'm here at the office, it's sunny outside and I'm transfering my last photos to the fuengirola.fi server. It's quite wistful, I really enjoyed my time here. Here's few pics of my last weekend.

Timo, Spain: Last three weeks gone in the blick of eye

Last weeks has gone very fast and the feeling is that days are going faster and faster before going back to Finland.

Days has been documenteary photographing, taking potraits and product pictures. Even I do not have 'proper' studio with fancy flashes, I think all studiowork was suitable for it's use.

Potraits I took in Cosmetica Norris where I have makeup students helping people to get nice makeup for picture. There are also 'studio' for potraits. In the same place I took pictures about cafeteria products for Thelman pullapuoti. Probably the nastiest product was water bottle. End of the day I took that photo outside.

Next week spanish people have Santa Semana, basically they celebrate eastern very enthuastic way. I really wait to see that carneval.

 

Linda, Spain: time goes so fast

Hola!

So it's my final week going. I have quite mixed up feelings, I miss home so much but I have really enjoyed the time here and working for fuengirola.fi. And the fact that Finland is frosty and snowy doesn't make me very excited to go back home... As you can see:

Joonas, Spain: Rest of the shoot pics

I did these on weekend. Two days on computer is always fun. I also signed up to Litmind and Model Management. At least in Litmind they verify every person manually for quality of pics, so for first-timer it is good sign to get in. Now I can do better research of models and perhaps get someone from those sites in front of my camera.
